MIRABILANDIA

The sixteen photographs in this selection are part of a study of the area around Mirabilandia, a district in the Municipality of Ravenna. They are “visual notes”, images of everyday objects and places seen from an unusual angle, as elements that photography is able to depict in an enigmatic and mysterious manner. They refer in different ways to the nature of photography itself and its ability to present, silently and discreetly, the most trivial reality as something allusive and full of meaning.
