SIT ON A SIDE OF A GLOBE

“My idea is to seek out the feelings in others that might move individuals within the globalized city. To this end I have used many found handwritten pieces which I collect, file and arrange in order to create chapters of lives lived, eventually obtaining the metaphor of a paper city in which all inhabitants are foreign to themselves and to others.”

BIO

VALERIO MANGHI
(Ivrea, IT, 1988)

After a degree in photography at the European Institute of Design in Turin, he participated in 2011 at the Mountain Photo Festival Artist’s Residence. Between 2012 and 2013 he presented his photographic projects in group exhibitions including Photissima Festival of Turin with “Above the wait, the voyage of others”, Set Up of Bologna with “Want punch me e di nuovo” and Diogene Project in Turin with “Serie Inversa, Unraveling Humans 1”
