FAMERS – DA “MADRIGALE IN DUE ATTI PER UOMINI E BESTIE”
(Farmers – from “Two-Act Madrigal for people and beasts”)

Farmers is a photographic work within my investigation field dating back to my first experiments with the photographic medium. The desire that initially led me to address these themes was to rediscover a point of origin and a link to my training field. Through photography, I decided to trace a clear and authentic account of what peasants’ reality was, investigating its time dimension and showing the latest acts of a reality that has now reached its epilogue. The human and at the same time material dimension of this experience still outlines, even if in a completely different way, some of the characterizing aspects of my current research, even after more than ten years from its initial development.
