FAMERS – DA “MADRIGALE IN DUE ATTI PER UOMINI E BESTIE”
(Farmers – from “Two-Act Madrigal for people and beasts”)

Madrigale is a work that belongs to a field of investigation linked to my first experiments with the photographic medium, created to throwing light on a segment of reality which is ignored, and relegated to the margins and erroneously considered outdated. It tears from the darkness of History the faces, the features and the lives of some people who are immersed in a temporality marked by the urgent needs of nature. This countryside is inscrutable like a daily mystery and allows me to rediscover a point of origin and to connect myself with my education’s territory. Through photography, I wanted to draw a clear and authentic report showing how rural reality was, investigating its temporal dimension and displaying the latest phase of a world that has come to its epilogue.
